The following recommendations are made at risk level 2 regarding the use of masks:
- Recommendation for the high use of masks by professionals who provide services in health centers, social health centers and specialized Social Service Centers, during activities that include attention to citizens, as a measure to protect themselves and prevent infection.
- The management of these centers is authorized to determine the mandatory use of masks for the mentioned professionals, if it is considered necessary based on their risk assessment, special action plan or contingency plan, as appropriate.
- The rest of the professionals in these centers are strongly recommended to wear a mask when they perform any other activity that does not require the direct attention of citizens and is carried out in these centers, as well as with patients and users.
- It is highly recommended that citizens use a mask as a preventive measure when coming to health centers and special services in the community, as well as in crowded indoor areas.Please note that the use of masks is not recommended for children under 6 years of age.
